browser also attempts to send the page-view event to capi.afandu.com, a Cloudflare Worker we run that
forwards the events it receives to Meta. Your browser submits the full address of the page you were on, its
user agent and, when they exist, Meta's _fbp and _fbc cookie identifiers; the
worker adds your IP address and the time before forwarding, so Meta can attribute the visit to our ads.
Nothing is sent to that endpoint until you opt in, and turning marketing cookies off in the banner stops

We only share data necessary for these services to function, and we ensure they have appropriate safeguards in place.

How this works technically: affiliate links on this site point to our own /go/ redirect
addresses, which forward you to the provider. We use this so we can measure which tools our readers find
useful and so a partner link can be updated in one place.
• What we see:that a link was clicked — we do not receive your name, email or payment
details from these clicks
• What the provider sees:once you land on their site, the
affiliate network or provider (for example Impact.com or PartnerStack) may set its own cookie to attribute a
future signup to us. That cookie is placed by them, on their domain, and is governed by
their privacy policy — not this one
